Yes, our wrestling mat can be used for most combative sports and is also ideal for gymnastics and tumbling.

What is the difference between the 1 inch and 1.25 inch mat?

Besides the extra 1/4 inch and additional cost, the 1.25 inch thick mat offers more absorption for additional impact protection.

What type of foam do you use?

We use special PVC foam called Absorbalite™.

What density is the foam?

Our mats are rated at a density of 7-9 pounds per square inch (PIS). The higher density means that the foam can absorb more shock and will last longer.

How does your foam compare to Dollamur?

Shock absorption is the most important quality in a wrestling mat and our Absorbalite™ foam continues to outperform Dollamur in absorption tests.

Are your mat edges protected?

Yes, the edges of our mats are coated to prevent damage and deterioration. Dollamur mat edges are completely exposed to traffic on and off the mat.

How long will the mat last?

With the proper attention and care your mat should last approximately 10-15 years. Depending on the condition, there's also a good chance that your mat can be easily repaired and reconditioned for an additional 5-10 years of use.

Does your mat have a protective coating?

We use a special vinyl paint to protect the foam core from the constant abuse your athletes chuck at it. All edges are coated to prevent deterioration & vandalism.

Can your mats be repaired/reconditioned?

Our mats are easy to repair. We use vinyl paint that is easy to apply and keeps the mat looking good. Dollamur uses a vinyl patch that glues to the mat surface, leaving a visible mark.

Do you provide a guarantee?

We guarantee our new mats for three years. All reconditioned mats are guaranteed for one year.

Do you provide financing?

We do not specifically provide financing. However one of our lending partners can help you finance your mat. Please speak to one of our representatives.

Do you take trade-ins?

Depending on the current condition of your old mat we will consider a trade-in that can be used towards the purchase of a new mat.

What's the difference between a used mat and a reconditioned mat?

A reconditioned mat is a used mat that has been repaired to it's natural state. The process may include re-squaring, repair of cuts and gouges and a complete re-coating of the mat surface. Some deep gouges, impressions, and deep wrinkles will leave a permanent impression or scar.
